Who is Mel?
Hi, I'm Melanie (Mel for short). We are located in middle Georgia and are a family owned business. We promise to make your purchase from us a pleasant experience. We treat our customers the way we like to be treated as a customer. We believe that good communication is the key to successful transaction. Therefore, we always email our customers to confirm your payment was received and to give you the shipping method and date.
What size are the Breyer models?
Breyers are produced in six sizes:
Traditional - approximately 12"L x 9"H, a 1/9 to 1/10 scale (foals are smaller in size).
Classic - approximately 9"L x 6"H, a 1/12 scale (foals are smaller in size).
Ponies - approximately 7"L x 6"H.
Paddock Pals - approximately 6"L x 5"H, a 1/24 scale.
Stablemates - approximately 4"L x 3"H, a 1/32 scale (foals are smaller in size).
Minnie Whinnies - Mares and stallions measure approximately 1 ½" tall and foals are approximately 1” tall.
What are Breyer models made of?
With the exception of the porcelain sculptures, Breyer models are injection molded from durable, engineering grade cellulose acetate and painted by hand. Most Breyers are now manufactured off-shore.
What was the first Breyer ever made?
The white Western Horse #59 has the distinction of being the first Breyer model ever made. It was made as part of a clock in 1950.
Is it safe to order on-line?
Absolutely, our web site uses the latest security technology. Your credit card will not be charged until order is ready for shipping.
How do I know you received my order?
When you have finished placing items in your shopping cart and have proceeded through the check out, you will be given an order confirmation number. A confirmation message will be sent within 2 hours after receipt of the order to the email address given during the order process. (A valid email address is required). You will also receive an email with shipping details (including a USPS delivery confirmation or UPS tracking number).
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, Checks, and Money Orders (Personal checks may be held up to 10 days for clearance).
When will my order be shipped?
We ship out orders received by 11:00 am EST (8:00 am Pacific) the same day. Orders placed after 11:00 am EST will be shipped out the next day.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales Tax will only be charged if your order is being shipped to the State of Georgia. Otherwise, no sales tax will be charged. Sales Tax for the State of Georgia is 7%.
What method of shipping do you use for "free shipping" orders?
I generally use US Parcel Post or UPS Ground (whichever is cheaper) for orders that qualify for free shipping.
